Set a daily window for scheduled tab refresh
A daily schedule pauses refresh outside your window but keeps interval and options saved.
Night-and-weekend reloads are wasteful on some dashboards. A daily window lets Auto Refresh Turbo run during work hours and go quiet afterward without retyping your interval every Monday morning.
What schedule does
You set a start time and an end time (local clock, HH:MM). Inside the window, refresh behaves like a normal running session. Outside the window, the session is paused:
- Your interval, random range, hard refresh, and other toggles stay saved
- Reload resumes automatically when the window opens again
- The popup should indicate a schedule pause instead of failing silently
Stop is different: it ends the session until you press Start again.
When a schedule helps

How to turn it on
- Open the tab you want on a normal

- Enable Schedule
- Set Start and End times
- Set your interval as usual
- Press Start
Stay for one in-window cycle to confirm reload. If you configure this near the end of the window, you may see a pause quickly — that is expected.

If refresh “stopped” at 18:01 and your window ends at 18:00, check the clock before troubleshooting.
Overnight gaps
A window from 09:00 to 18:00 does not reload at 02:00. That is the point. If you need overnight coverage, widen the window or run a separate tab without schedule for that watch.
Cross-midnight windows (for example 22:00–06:00) depend on how the product interprets the range — test once with a short interval so you see behavior on your profile.
Schedule plus random interval
Random min–max delays still apply inside the window. Outside the window, alarms should not fire until the window opens.
Schedule plus stop-on-interaction
Stop-on-interaction can still pause reload while you type inside the tab during the window. Schedule pause and interaction pause can coexist — read the popup status line to know which applies.
Multiple tabs
Each tab session has its own schedule toggle and times. Your dashboard can run 09:00–18:00 while a personal queue tab runs 24/7 without schedule.
Permissions and data
Schedule times live in chrome.storage.local with the rest of your settings. No cloud sync. Details: Privacy Policy.
Common mistakes
- Expecting reload at midnight — outside the window means paused
- Pressing Stop to “pause for the night” — use schedule instead; Stop wipes the active session
- Forgetting timezone travel — laptop clock changes shift the window with you
